We have made the 2008 Corporate Cup easier than ever to register for and participate in. This year all participants will be "chip-timed." What is "chip-timing?"
Chip timing systems require that athletes wear a small, lightweight chip that uniquely identifies them as they cross strategically placed, electronic mats. The chips this year will be integrated into the runner's bib number. In its most basic and common form, chip timing electronically handles the task of collecting and processing results at the end of the race.
Get ready for a fun event that builds team spirit, provides a healthy challenge to everyone,
and benefits a great cause.
You will need to designate a team captain who will distribute information, register the team, collect fees and donations
and turn in the team registration by the deadline. Assistance is available throughought this process from the Lung Association.
The Corporate Cup is a team event. In the Corporate Division companies compete against others of similar size. There is also a community division for clubs,
churches, organizations, unions and other groups whose members don't receive W-2 forms from the organization.
Event fees are divided into two parts:
The Corporate Fee is paid by the company and is based on number of employees in the company. The fees are separated into divisions. You will register the team, pay the corporate fee, and choose a team name. Please note: Corporate fees for first year participants is waived.
| Division | # of Employees | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| AAA | 1000+ | $755 |
| AA2 | 500-999 | $575 |
| AA1 | 250-499 | $520 |
| A2 | 100-249 | $385 |
| A1 | 50-99 | $320 |
| B2 | 25-49 | $130 |
| B1 | 1-24 | $65 |

The Individual Corporate Fee is $15 per team member. Each team member will need to register individually in order for their information and results to be tracked and recorded. The Individual Fee for Open Division Runners is $35 per runner.
Kid's 100 meter dash fees are $5 per runner. Children will be broken down by age group heat. Children must be at least 6 years old and no older than 10 years to participate in the Kid's Cup!
